Meet the Hosts
Your hosts, Lynne & Joey Mosher, welcome you to their little corner of Maine. There's nothing they enjoy more than sharing the peaceful magic of the Maine lakes and woods.
Joey has spent four decades working with horses as a farrier and harness racer, celebrating over 2,000 career wins. These days, you’ll mainly catch him racing at local fairs for the pure joy of the sport. He is a true man of the land who loves working on his excavator or finding new projects to improve the property for their guests. Known affectionately as “Joe Dirt”, he’s always ready with a friendly wave and a helping hand. You’ll definitely see him staying busy around the grounds making sure everything looks great.
Lynne runs her own shop next door to the rentals, Gardengirl420LLC, a medical marijuana shop, drawing on years of experience managing
K-mart & Rite Aid. Her true heart lies in creating beautiful spaces, and she spends much of her time tending to her gardens and she carefully designed the interiors of each unit. She has a natural eye for detail and loves making sure every room feels cozy, stylish, and just like home for your visit.
Their story began back in 3rd grade at a local, family run auction house (Mosher's Auction House), though they found their way back to one another decades later in 2017. Married since 2018, they share a busy life with 5 children and 3 grandkids. These days, they love winding down with twilight ATV rides across their land, sunset pontoon cruises on North Pond, and relaxing summer BBQs around the firepit. And on Thursday evenings, you will find them at the Rollerdrome in Lewiston, Maine for their weekly roller-skating sessions.
